Project Management for the Boat Owner
Employing a project manager/owner's representative to coordinate the build process saves time, money and frustration. A project manager will insure that the boat is built to the owner's requirements, with no short cuts taken, and that change orders are minimized, required and reasonably priced. Communications play an important role in the process insuring that information is ahead of the build and everyone is kept aware of the latest decisions. The construction of a yacht can be overwhelming and having someone there will make it go smoothly.

Project Management for the Builder
A project manager will track labor and materials, make achievable schedules, communicate important information amongst the departments, push the project, and insure contract compliance. This keeps the project moving with timely information and detailed scheduling. A good project manager is the best way to keep the project on time and within budget.

Engineering/Design
Stuart Archer has designed production boats from 17' to 47' for high end manufacturers. Over the last ten plus years he has focused his design expertise on custom expedition yachts from 45' to 100'. These exquisite full-displacement yachts are capable of traveling anywhere for long extended cruises. Stuart designed most of the Northern Marine trawlers, the American Expedition line, and the NW trawler series. He is the winner of the 2007 Showboats "Boat of the Year" award for a full displacement yacht under 45 meters.
